The optimal tip for a mobility cane will depend on the following factors: the environment in which it will be used i.e. the terrain, cane technique being used and personal preference for the type and amount of feedback provided. Ambutech cane tips are made from a variety of materials and come in a number of different shapes and sizes. They are attached to Ambutech canes in one of 3 ways: Hook-on, Slip-on or 8mm Threaded.

All Ambutech cane tips have been designed to work with the two predominate mobility techniques: two-point touch and constant contact.

Tip style

Slip-on tips - Fit securely over the shaft of Aluminium, Graphite and Fiberglass canes.

Roller Marshmallow Tip – cylindrical tip with built in protected bearing that rolls from side to side and made from a material that lasts 2 to 3 times longer than a regular tip. It can be easily used on different types of surfaces and the cane users gets good feedback about every change in the surface.
