Accepting these terms of supply
By placing an order with Vision Australia for goods or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Supply.
Vision Australia may vary these Terms of Supply by publishing updates at shop.visionaustralia.org/terms-and-conditions. The updated Terms of Supply will apply to orders submitted after they are published.
Pricing and GST
All prices, goods and services displayed on this webstore are subject to change without notice. Pricing is in Australian Dollars and includes GST (if applicable). Some goods are GST exempt.
Unless otherwise agreed to by Vision Australia, all payments for goods and services must be made by credit card (only Visa and MasterCard accepted).
You are responsible for all delivery costs, for example multiple delivery attempts due to an incorrect address.
Gift Cards
Gift cards cannot be reloaded or topped up. There are no limitations on the number of transactions that can be used with gift cards.
Order confirmation
Vision Australia is not obliged to supply to you any goods or services shown on this webstore. When you place an order for goods or services, you are making an offer to Vision Australia, which we may or may not accept. A binding contract is created between you and Vision Australia when you receive an order confirmation from us (by email or otherwise).
Product availability
If goods or services are discontinued or temporarily out of stock, our Customer Service team will try to contact you as soon as possible, and suggest alternative options. If those options are not suitable, we will cancel the order and refund your payment.
Shipping within Australia
All goods are for purchase and shipping within Australia. Unless otherwise agreed, Vision Australia will cancel international orders and refund payment.
Vision Australia will not configure, ship or deliver goods until clear payment has been received in Vision Australia’s bank account.
Vision Australia will deliver the goods or services to the address you nominate, using standard domestic postage services. Vision Australia will not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods occurring during or after delivery to the nominated address. It is up to you to insure the goods during transit. Vision Australia is not responsible for any delivery failure outside Vision Australia’s reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, embargo, strike, travel restrictions, pandemic or epidemics.
Delivery timing
Vision Australia endeavours to deliver any goods or services ordered within 2 to 14 working days of your order confirmation . This is an estimate only. If the goods or services are not received within this time, you should call Vision Australia on 1300 84 74 66.
If for any reason delivery is not possible within 14 working days, Vision Australia will contact you, and give you the option to cancel your order and receive a refund.
This webstore is not suitable for urgent or time critical orders. Vision Australia is not responsible for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from delay in delivery, whether the delay is caused by Vision Australia or otherwise.
Changing or cancelling an order for goods
If you wish to change or cancel an order that has already been placed but not yet received by you, please call Vision Australia on 1300 84 74 66. Vision Australia may choose to accept your request. As a condition of accepting your request, Vision Australia may adjust the price and anticipated delivery date for the goods or services.
Cancelling an order for services
You may cancel an order for the supply of services by Vision Australia to you within 7 days from the day you made payment provided we have not incurred any identifiable costs as a result of your order and the nature of the services intended to be supplied are not of a type specified by us or by law , as being exempt from cancellation. If these conditions are met Vision Australia will refund you the amount you originally paid for the supply of the services within 30 days from the date we received notice of cancellation.
Tax receipts
Vision Australia will provide a tax receipt after payment is processed and your goods are sent. Tax receipts will be sent via email or post along with your order.
Suitability of goods
By using this Webstore, you acknowledge that Vision Australia has not given any individualised advice regarding the suitability of goods for your personal circumstances. Vision Australia encourages you to seek independent advice if appropriate or contact us.
Details required from you
You must provide the following details to make an order:
- your postal address;
- credit card type;
- name on credit card;
- credit card number;
- credit card expiry date; and
- CCV number (if available).

Your address, credit card details and order details must be entered into a secure payment gateway which is operated by a third party. The third party engaged by Vision Australia to provide payment gateway services operates in line with industry security standards.

Vision Australia’s collection, storage, use and disclosure of your privacy information is governed by the terms of our Privacy Statement.
Change of Mind Policy
Vision Australia offers a change of mind policy for goods, in addition to any applicable rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Further details about this policy can be found in the Change of Mind Policy.
Limitation of liability
Subject to law, Vision Australia, and its directors, employees, agents, volunteers and contractors, do not accept liability to you for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and defence or settlement costs) whatsoever, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising out of or referable to the supply or your use of the goods or services, howsoever caused.
Indemnity
You indemnify Vision Australia for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, which is suffered by Vision Australia as a result of your breach of these Terms of Supply.
Warranty
You are entitled to rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement for or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Except as provided for in the Australian Consumer Law and these Terms of Supply, all express and implied warranties, representations, guarantees and conditions under law as to merchantability, description, quality, suitability or fitness of the goods or services for any purpose, or as to design, materials, workmanship or otherwise are expressly excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
In relation to any warranty, guarantee or condition under law that cannot be lawfully excluded, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Vision Australia’s liability is limited, and at the absolute discretion of Vision Australia, to:
- the supply of the goods or services again; or
- the payment of the cost of resupplying the goods or services again.
Products may contain warranty documents on or inside the packaging provided by the manufacturer or distributor of the product. Any such warranty is not given by Vision Australia.
