The Ray Ban Meta Wayfarer Gen 2 smart glasses provide hands free access to general information, communication and AI powered assistance for users who are blind or have low vision. With built in Meta AI, the glasses can describe what the camera sees, answer general questions, read signs aloud and support everyday, non critical tasks while keeping your hands free.

These glasses are best used as a supplementary assistive technology for information and convenience. They are not designed to replace mobility aids or other safety critical supports.

This model features shiny black Wayfarer frames with Transitions lenses that automatically adjust from clear indoors to graphite green outdoors and provide 100 percent UVA and UVB protection.

What you need to use this product

Compatible smartphone: A compatible smartphone with the Meta AI app installed from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Compatible smartphones are the BlindShell Classic 3 and the latest Apple and Android devices. Full list of supported phones (PDF, 135KB).
Connectivity requirements: The phone must be switched on, connected to Wi-Fi or 4G or 5G, with Bluetooth enabled and within approximately 10 metres of the glasses.
Phone placement: The phone can remain in a pocket or bag and does not need the screen turned on.
