The Ambutech Telescopic Fiberglass canes sold from Vision Australia have been prepped to be used with only 8mm threaded on tips. They are designed as a compact, light duty cane which is infinitely adjustable over the full extended range using the locking handle.

Achieving Goals
Mobility canes help people who are blind or have low vision navigate independently by detecting obstacles in their path. They are intended for people who have had training that enables them to use the cane for safe and independent travel. An ID/Symbol cane helps others identify the individual as blind or has low vision.
This product is most suitable for a cane user that requires an ID/Symbol cane or light duty mobility cane. Training is recommended for first time cane users with our Orientation and Mobility Specialists.

This cane is not designed as an everyday use mobility cane and not made to support the user's body weight.
